Honorary Fellows

 

The College's constitution enables the Board to confer an Honorary Fellowship on any person who is not a notary and whom the Board wishes to honour.

In addition to receiving a Certificate marking the conferral of the Honorary Fellowship, an Honorary Fellow is entitled to use the post nominal designation, "FANZCN (Hon.)".

Since the inception of the College, the Board has conferred Honorary Fellowships on four eminent recipients.

Former Chief Justice of Victoria and the first Patron of the College


The Honourable Robert McClelland, FANZCN (Hon), MP.

Attorney General of Australia


The Honourable Robert Shenton French, AC, FANZCN (Hon).

Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia


Dr Christophe Bernasconi, FANZCN (Hon).

First Secretary of the Hague Conference on Private International Law
